Esther Yim
Founder & Owner
Esther Yim is a dedicated mother of two and a passionate beauty professional whose journey was inspired by her mother’s salon and the transformative power of beauty. Choosing the hands-on world of beauty over traditional academia, she built a career rooted in both artistry and purpose.
In the permanent makeup industry, Esther serves as an AAM Platinum Instructor, Board Member, and Korean Ambassador. She’s also an SPCP Trainer Member, certified in Bloodborne Pathogens, and Chairperson of the Korean Permanent Makeup Artists of NY/NJ (KPMA NYNJ), where she leads with both expertise and compassion.
Her personal experience with eyebrow and lip tattoos deepened her understanding of how permanent makeup can simplify and empower everyday life, especially for busy mothers like herself.
As an educator, Esther focuses not only on technical mastery but also on building confidence in her students—preparing them to uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Beyond her professional achievements, Esther is driven by the desire to build a lasting legacy for her family. She founded Hudson Beauty Bar in 2019 and acquired Feminink Beauty in 2024, milestones that reflect her vision and dedication. She continues to inspire others to pursue their passions and create their own success stories.
Leyna Kang

With over two decades in the beauty industry, Leyna has developed deep expertise in nail instruction and permanent makeup, enhanced by specialized training in Korea. As an AAM-certified professional now based in New Jersey, she is committed to maintaining high standards and continually advancing her skills.
She specializes not only in natural permanent makeup but also in Korean lash lift techniques, offering clients results that highlight their natural beauty. Currently, she is also teaching classes at Hudson Feminink Beauty, sharing her extensive knowledge and passion with aspiring artists.
To Leyna, beauty is about empowerment and confidence—a philosophy she brings to every client interaction, especially when working with those facing health challenges. She is a huge asset to Hudson Feminink Beauty and is thrilled to work alongside Esther, where together they aim to foster an innovative and positive environment for a promising future.
